Daniel Poulin grew up close to Edmonton, Alberta and received both his Bachelor of Commerce and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Alberta. He came with his wife and children to Vernon in 2014 and was called to the Bar in 2015.

He worked at a medium-size firm in Vernon for several years doing civil litigation, family law, and child protection work before starting Daniel M. Poulin Law Corporation and focusing primarily on child protection. As the firm is growing, Dan is finding more time to dedicate to private family law and civil litigation.

Dan loves taking advantage of the privileges that the Okanagan has to offer. In the winter you will often find him with his family up on the mountain cross-country skiing, alpine skiing, or snowboarding. In the summer he loves mountain biking and hiking adventures, particularly backpacking with his wife and four children.

Community Involvement

Dan Poulin is actively advocating for trails and recreation as a member of the North Okanagan Cycling Society, where he has previously served as both a member of the Board of Directors and as the President.

Dan has previously served as the Vice-President of the Vernon Bar Association.
